Winntec Wheel Assist Gen 2 Lift Makes Big Tire Handling Easy!
Our shop moves heavy wheel and tire assemblies. The Winntec Tire Dolly (Model Y471105HD) made our tire rotations and moving tires much easier. Now moving tire and wheel assemblies has become even easier! The Winntec Wheel Assist Gen 2 is ideal for our 102 pound, 37×12.50×17 Ram truck wheels and tires. This lift has simplified and sped up tire moving chores, making tire movement much safer!
When our shop purchased a new Weaver® W-898XS pneumatic power tire changing machine with the PL240 assist arm, the only attachment not available for this machine was a tire lift. We now use our Winntec Wheel Assist Gen 2 to move tires from the truck or Jeep® directly to the tire changer and back again. This makes our tire changing chores easier and eliminates manually lifting a 102-pound tire assembly from the floor onto the tire changer.
The tire rollers on the Winntec Wheel Assist enable quick alignment of our 5- and 8-lug wheels with the wheel hubs. (Wheel Assist works with any wheel stud pattern. The only limit is the maximum weight load recommended.) Anyone wrestling with big tire and wheel assemblies knows how awkward it is to align wheel studs and holes. The Winntec Wheel Assist lift eliminates that struggle. By controlling the height and locking the rack into position, the machine’s rollers can quickly align the wheel for mounting.
Caster wheels on the lift have locks to prevent movement when sliding a wheel and tire onto or off the rollers. When moving a large tire and wheel, the lift rolls easily around the vehicle for rotations or quickly into the shop and tire changer. No power source is required, this unit’s maintenance-free gas springs dramatically offset the weight of the tire/wheel for an easy lift and positioning of the assembly. Rolling the tire on and off the lift in the down position is simplified with the removable ramp.
