The 2014 SEMA Show New Products Breakfast brought the members and media together just prior to the show’s opening bell. Prestigious awards for best new products and best trending new vehicles are an anticipated annual event. This year, the addition of the Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award began the morning’s opening ceremony. 

  Beginning in the postwar era, when Hot Rod Magazine showcased the speed industry’s trends, Ed Pink emerged as a premier racing engine builder. From dry lakes and Bonneville to sprint cars, midgets, NHRA drag racing and everything between, Ed Pink set the standard for superior engines and speed!  At the 2014 SEMA Show Awards Breakfast, Ed Pink received the Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award. See the HD video coverage of this historical event!

A roster of new products received the SEMA Best New Products awards. Awards went to large companies, small companies and even fledgling businesses attending the SEMA Show for the very first time! Important to the vehicle manufacturers is the coveted SEMA Award in each new vehicle category. Hottest 4×4/SUV, Hottest Truck, Hottest Car, and Hottest Compact Car, these are the “trending” vehicles that aftermarket manufacturers target for new products. This year, once again, the Hottest 4×4/SUV is the Jeep JK Wrangler that prevailed at display booths across the 2014 SEMA Show floors. Chevrolet Silverado earned the Hottest Truck pick!
