This podcast premier episode shares my classic truck journey and background around classic trucks and SUVs. A fan of today’s classic trucks since the 1960s, I have owned and professionally repaired, rebuilt, restored, maintained, upgraded and customized dozens of postwar through 1980s 2WD and 4×4 trucks and SUVs. As an automotive journalist and truck book author, my classic Jeep, Land Cruiser and truck projects have displayed at the SEMA Show, SCORE Show and Off-Road Expo. My Bentley Publishers books include bestsellers that cover classic Jeep 4x4s, Chevrolet trucks, GMC trucks, Ford F-trucks, Toyota trucks and the Land Cruiser.
The introduction to the podcast provides a glimpse into my technical background, experience and lifestyle around classic trucks and SUVs. My career and involvement with classic trucks and cars has included shop work and writing for OFF-ROAD Magazine, Popular Hot Rodding, Chevy Truck, Classic Truck and a lengthy list of other automotive enthusiast magazines.
