Breaking equipment is not uncommon along the Rubicon Trail. On the route out, the WFTW group encountered a Jeep CJ with its steering gear loosened from the frame.
4WD volunteer driver John Cox jumped into action with a Ready Welder and automotive battery to save the day. In this HD video, flux-core welding from a spool gun is a quick fix for a stranded Jeep. All in a typical day’s run—along the Rubicon Trail!
