The rapid growth and popularity of Ultra4 racing and the Griffin King of the Hammers Race series has spurred worldwide interest in off-road racing. To date, though, entry-level racing has been non-existent, and the cost of building an Ultra4 race car runs high.
All of that changed on February 5th when Smittybilt sponsored the first entry-level race. Grassroots supporters gathered online, and teams formed from across the country. At the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers Race week, 4WD Mechanix Magazine arrived early to cover the Every Man’s Challenge—and to interview competitors and crews like Team Robby Bobby!
