The flat rubber pad adapters that came with our new rolling jacks are very sturdy and will fit most vehicles. Our Jeep XJ Cherokee is an exception. Round flat adapters do not work well with the front beam axles on many 4x4s. To solve this issue, I fabricated a set of saddle type adapters that will work for any 2WD or 4×4 beam axle. This includes the front and rear axles on our Jeep Cherokee and 4WD Dodge Ram 3500 pickup.
