The annual BFGoodrich® Tires “Outstanding Trails” winners were announced at this year’s 2016 SEMA Show. Recipient 4WD clubs received $4000 each for their contribution to the off-road community through trail and back country road restoration. This prestigious award reflects the physical efforts of club members determined to promote a positive image around off-pavement and trail use. This is a hands-on way to keep our trails accessible for future generations!
Each year, BFGoodrich® Tires, 4-Wheel Parts and others sponsor the “Outstanding Trails Awards”. Nationally recognized as a tribute to 4WD clubs that do exceptional trail work, the winning trails and clubs received their awards at this year’s SEMA Show within the BFG®-SCORE Baja 1000 Experience site. Tom Sullivan (red shirt onstage) presented these awards on behalf of BFGoodrich® Tires.
This year’s winners received a hearty round of applause from the crowd. Much hard work goes into trail improvements and restoration. These clubs were the best among the notables for 2016, addressing trails that needed serious attention. Local community and land use agency appreciation for their efforts goes far toward keeping our trails open.
